The BDI Avion series II 8925 is one of the latest releases from US based luxury TV furniture manufacturers BDI. The BDI Avion 8925 is beautifully finished in natural stained cherry and has a clever space saving design which is perfect for placing in a corner but works just as well flush against a wall. Perfect for all makes and models of flat panel televisions, the Avion 8925 is also compatible with BDI’s Arena Mount enabling the TV to be mounted to a heavy duty
cantilever TV arm and suspended just above the cabinet giving the illusion the LCD or Plasma TV is floating in mid air.
Building on the original BDI Avion series of
TV furniture with new improvements including a stronger chassis, thanks to an updated steel cabinet base, larger IR friendly glass panels enable superior remote control access yet the tinted glass keeps AV equipment concealed. BDI now manufacture all doors and drawers with luxurious soft closing mechanisms, internal shelves are vented and the cable management systems have been expanded enabling more cables to hidden away.
The insides of the
BDI TV cabinet feature two compartments each wide enough to accommodate full width AV components, the base shelf is able to support 34kg, above is an adjustable shelf which is capable of supporting a maximum of 23kg. BDI have also included some vertical storage at either side, these are the perfect home for games consoles or for general media storage.
As always with BDI
wooden TV Stands, the Avion 8925 is technically outstanding, flow through ventilation helps the cabinet stay cool, warmer air is forced out of the rear vents and cooler air is drawn from underneath the cabinet pulled through the vented base and vented shelves. Removable back panels and advanced cable management enable wiring to be concealed and run through the BDI Avion 8925’s cable routing, supplied Velcro straps help to keep cables completely out of sight. Integrated floor levellers and castors further increase flexibility in terms of positioning.
