Gecko are continuing to expand their range of TV stands and TV units in 2011, with a number of new arrivals. As always with Gecko Furniture the new TV stands and TV units look to blend contemporary aesthetics with useful features to create TV stands which are both practical and stylish.

Spectral have really made an impression in 2011 with the release of some astounding new products.

The Just Racks JRL series of TV units have proven to be very popular very quickly, and it’s not difficult to see why, the JRL1100 pictured above is only £499.99, the JRL1100 is also available with a drawer instead of front flap. Just Racks have also given the JRL1100 a big brother in the form of the JRL1650.

Gecko Furniture have released some gloss white TV units and TV cabinets.  Gecko will initially launch the Impro IMP900 in a gloss white finish in addition to the complete Reflect series of TV cabinets, so the REF550, REF800 and REF1100 will all be given a gloss white finish. Each of the Reflect and Impro cabinets will be supplied with a black glass top, made from a toughened, scratch resistant tempered glass panel. For consumers who would prefer a white top on their cabinet Gecko have finished the cabinet tops in gloss white so users do not necessarily need to use the black glass top.

Gecko also plan to release the Sapphire SAP1200 and the Opal OPA1200 in gloss white finishes. We can also expect to see some new Gecko TV stands which will also be finished in gloss white in the future.

The Gecko Impro IMP900-GW is a space saving, corner shaped TV stand. The closed sides and rear panel and cable management system ensure wiring stays out of view. The two lower doors feature a push to open mechanism and can be used to store CD’s, DVD’ and remote controls.

The Gecko Reflect TV cabinet series consists of 3 models, the REF550 (for TV’s up to 32″, the REF800 (for TV’s up to 37″ or the REF1100 (for TV’s up to 55″). The Gecko Reflect TV units are modular in design so multiple cabinets can be linked together to create one larger TV cabinet.

Gecko manufacture some of our favourite TV cabinets,  every single TV unit Gecko manufacture is packed full of intelligent performance features which make your home cinema system more functional and more convenient.  The only downside we could see with the Gecko range was that they only offered a gloss black finish, however Gecko have now launched a range of Walnut TV furniture for those who prefer a more traditional look.

The full range of Gecko Reflect TV cabinets is now available in a walnut finish, the new Reflect REF550-WNT, REF800-WNT and REF1100-WNT retain the remote control friendly darkened glass door and the scratch resistant black top seen on the original Gecko Reflect TV cabinets but are now available with a quality gloss walnut finish.

High end AV furniture manufacturer Spectral have recently expanded the range of the high quality Brick TV cabinets. As with any AV furniture from Spectral the new Brick TV cabinets feature class leading build quality and fine German engineering.

The Spectral Brick range are manufactured to order in Germany, although this means it usually takes around 3-4 weeks for delivery it enables Spectral to offer a choice of over 2000 colours. Spectral use the NCS colour system, NCS colour is a universal standard of colour, simply get the NCS colour code and Spectral will make you a luxurious piece of TV furniture in that exact colour.

OLED 3D TV furniture stands and OLED 3D TV units are now regarded as a real piece of sitting room furniture. A good LCD TV unit or LED TV unit not only improves the ambiance of your home it can also be more practical than a standard table or sideboard. There are now a impressive range of plasma television cabinets and TV stands from a wide collection of brands, savvy consumers finally have the range of choice of LCD TV furniture as they would if they were buying a chest of drawers or leather sofa bed.

The most common type of Plasma TV stand furniture on the British market are the Plasma TV stands made from glass, typically a glass LCD TV unit will consist of 3 shelves, the uppermost shelf is often thicker in order to provide a stable base for a flat panel TV.
