The Gecko Opal OPA1200-GB is a truly unique rounded Plasma and LCD TV Cabinet designed for all brands and models of flat panel televisions sized from 37 up to 55 in size. The Gecko Opal OPA1200-GB exudes a true luxury feel; the stylish design features high quality raw materials with lavish standards of finish quality. The Gecko Opal OPA1200 is also compatible with the Gecko MBM1000 mount bracket, this enables most LCD, LED & Plasma TVs sized between 32 and 55 to be accommodated as a cantilever TV cabinet.
Gecko have specifically designed the Opal OPA1200 to meet the practical needs of home cinema users, the rounded design increases safety for households with pets or children as it eliminates the risk of injury on sharp edges or corners. The heavyweight design has been geometrically engineered to provide overall stability wherever weight is applied to the TV cabinet. The Gecko Opal OPA1200 features a high quality glass top with a scratch resistant glass formula. As with all Gecko TV furniture the Opal OPA1200-GB TV cabinet features toughened safety glass throughout the design.
Gecko are renowned for adding features which increase the convenience and performance when using home cinema systems. The Gecko Opal OPA1200 has been designed around a strengthened structure which resists unwanted resonance and vibrations. The lower front flap features a slow opening mechanism further eliminating the risk of injury from trapped fingers. Both compartments feature darkened glass inserts which enable IR remote control signal to pass through whilst concealing AV components and cabling. The upper compartment of the TV cabinet comes with a choice of either a glass or fabric speaker insert enabling centre channel home cinema speakers to be accommodated. An intelligent vented base and a removable back panel further enhance home cinema usage.
