The Gecko Opal OPA1200-WNT is finished with walnut sides and fronts and a 10mm toughened glass top. The sturdy walnut TV cabinet is held together with chunky wooden panels which are supported by a strengthened steel framework. The Gecko Opal OPA1200-WNT is also compatible with the matching MBM1000-WNT cantilever mounting bracket for those who prefer the look of a wall mounted television but would like the flexibility and convenience a cantilever TV stand provides.
The Gecko Opal OPA1200-WNT TV unit is loaded with useful features, the enclosed design protects sensitive AV equipment from dust particle damage but an intelligent ventilation system prevents AV equipment from overheating. The rear panel of the walnut TV unit can be removed giving improved access to the rear of Av equipment and cabling, all of which can be easily hidden with the integrated cable management system.
Further features include darkened glass fronts which conceal obtrusive AV components but enable remote controls to function, the upper compartment front can be replaced with a fabric speaker grill (included in the box) which enables sound to emit from within the cabinet even when it is closed. The lower compartment door uses a slow opening hinge to increase safety.
