The Gecko Opal series is the flagship collection of Gecko TV furniture. The Gecko Opal OPA900-GB is designed for all makes and models of LCD, LED and Plasma televisions sized up to 37. The Gecko Opal TV cabinets are built using fine quality raw materials with lavish standards of finish quality. The Gecko Opal OPA900-GB TV cabinet is also compatible with the Gecko MBM1000 multi fit mounting bracket, enabling the OPA900 to support the vast majority of TVs sized from 32 up to 55 despite its lean footprint.
Gecko have designed the OPA900-GB to be as functional and safe as it is stylish. The lack of squared edges maximizes safety in households with pets or younger children. Each glass panel is made from toughened safety glass with a special scratch resistant formula. The lower front flap features a high quality suspension arm which ensures the cabinet opens, smoothly, gradually and safely.
The Gecko Opal OPA900-GB has been created and developed with home cinema usage in mind, the chassis has been designed to resist vibrations creating a solid platform for enhanced visual and acoustic playback. The front flaps feature darkened glass fronts which enable remote controls to function but conceal AV components stored in the TV cabinet interior. Gecko supply a choice of either a darkened glass or a fabric speaker grill for the upper compartment flap. The rear panel can be removed enabling convenient access to the rear of audio and video equipment. The Gecko Opal OPA900-GB also features an intelligent ventilated base which pulls cool air from underneath the cabinet and pushes warmer air out of the back panel to help keep AV components cool.
