The Gecko Sapphire SAP1200-GB is a luxury TV cabinet from the Gecko AV furniture range. As with all Gecko TV furniture the standards of build quality and finish quality are simply class leading. Beneath the stylish concave design lies a heavy duty TV cabinet with a steel strengthened framework, the Gecko Sapphire SAP1200 TV cabinet is suitable for all makes and models of Plasma, LCD and LED TVs sized up to 55. The Gecko Sapphire SAP1200 can also be used in conjunction with the Gecko multi-fit mounting bracket which transforms the SAP1200 into a cantilever TV cabinet capable of supporting TVs of up to 55 in size.
The Gecko Sapphire SAP1200-GB is a high specification TV cabinet both in terms of quality and features. Gecko have built the cabinet with a removable back panel, this provides convenient access to the rear of AV equipment and cabling making installation and wiring far easier. The LCD & Plasma TV cabinet also features an intelligent ventilation system which pulls cool air from underneath the TV cabinet and pushes warmer air out of the back panel, amplifiers and games consoles are particularly prone to overheating if placed inside an enclosed TV cabinet but the ventilation system of the Gecko Sapphire will keep them cool.
The front of the TV cabinet features twin front flaps, the lower flap features high quality suspension arms, the flap opens gradually and safely rather than crashing down suddenly. Both TV cabinet front flaps feature darkened glass inserts, Gecko have specifically selected this glass because it enables remote controls to function and conceals AV components and cabling from view. Gecko also supply an optional fabric speaker insert which can be placed on the flap of the upper TV cabinet compartment enabling centre channel speakers or micro system speakers to be placed in the upper compartment. The Gecko Sapphire TV cabinet also features cable management.
